MBCFM Recipes

Edible Paradise celebrates the year-round abundance of the highest quality, freshest food grown on the Central Coast by our family farmers at the Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets. If you enjoy preparing and eating locally grown food, this blog is for you!

Each week, you’ll find seasonal produce highlights to let you know what’s at the markets so that you can plan your shopping and meals. Helpful articles about basic cooking and preparation of produce, as well as recipes by local chefs featuring seasonal ingredients from our farmers markets or your own backyard will inspire you. You’ll discover healthful vegetarian, “raw,” and gluten-free options, as well as tried-and-true traditional favorites. In addition, we’ll teach you the basics about preserving fruits and vegetables, and provide easy step-by-step instructions for making your own granola, tofu, mascarpone, almond milk and many other delicious, artisanal products in our Better Than Store Bought section.

We think you’ll agree – we do live in an Edible Paradise! If you have ideas, comments or recipes you’d like to share, we'd enjoy hearing from you.
