Teach Every Child About Food

Email Print PDF

TED Prize winner, chef, and activist, Jamie Oliver, makes the case for an all-out assault on our ignorance of food. “I believe that every child in America has the right to fresh, nutritious school meals, and that every family deserves real, honest, wholesome food. Too many people are being affected by what they eat. It's time for a national revolution. America needs to stand up for better food!”

Jamie is transforming the way we feed ourselves, and our children. Jamie shares powerful stories from his anti-obesity project in Huntington, West Virginia in this video from the TED awards, where he expressed his heartfelt concern: “I wish for your help to create a strong, sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.”

Find out more about Jamie’s Food Revolution campaign, school food, facts and figures about food and diet and read his Platform for change.
